Promoting SUDC awareness while providing peace of mind to families, with the help from a little angel in heaven
In the early hours of January 24, 2017, Landry Joseph quickly but calmly made his way into this world. He was 9 lbs. and 2 oz. of pure perfection - a roly poly little guy with a full head of hair. He was the perfect addition to our family.
From the day he was born, calm and content was Landry's way. Very little seemed to upset him [other than his dad's singing]. Even his [sometimes] overbearing older brother didn't seem to phase him. He was a happy boy with a big heart, which was good because that heart needed to hold a lot of love.
Like any child, Landry loved his toys, his dog, playing outside and just about anything that involved food. In fact, it's hard to think of anything he didn't love; he just had a fierce love for life!
On March 7, 2019, a few weeks after his second birthday, Landry went down for a nap and woke up in Heaven. He passed unexpectedly in his sleep, and doctors were unable to determine the cause. His death, along with hundreds of other children each year, was categorized as Sudden Unexplained Death in Children (SUDC).
Today, Landry's light continues to shine, as he is lovingly remembered by his friends and family. His light burns bright every day as we share his love and compassion with the world.
